Terms and Conditions

 

Following a site survey, all of our quotations are prepared as accurately as possible to carry out the specified tasks. The estimate is based on information supplied by the client regarding tiling specifications and any preparations that are needed including all observations made by SW Tiling.

Any change in specification may result in an extra charge being made.

 
  1. All prices quoted include; Primer, adhesives, grouts and sealants or polishes (where necessary).

     

  2. Metal or plastic edge trims will be charged to the nearest 1m.

     

  3. All estimates are valid for 30 days.

     

  4. On acceptance, the estimate will represent an agreement between the client and SW Tiling. Any changes in specification may result in an extra charge being made.

     

  5. All estimates exceeding £500 require a deposit of 30% at time of booking. If less than 7 days before start of job this must be cash.

     

  6. All estimates that include supplying of tiles require a 50% deposit at time of booking. If less than 7 days before start of job this must be cash.

     

  7. All work undertaken by SW Tiling is dependent on site and materials being available on agreed date.

    Please note: Failure to notify cancellation of appointment within 24 hours for any reason, or poor quality workmanship carried out by other tradesmen that prevent SW Tiling from carrying out the desired task will result in either, a charge for that day , or a charge for the extra work needed to carry on with the job.

     

  8. To maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, SW Tiling only use high quality materials that are recognised throughout the tiling industry.

     

  9. Site to be available from 8.00 until 18.00.

     

  10. Site to be left clean and tidy at all times.

     

  11. Client to provide electrical and water supply during works.

     

  12. Final payment due on completion of works.

     

  13. All cheques to be made payable to Stephen Wray.

     

  14. All site rubbish will be left tidy for client disposal.

     

  15. All rubbish can be removed on request at a minimum charge of £35.00.

     

  16. SW Tiling reserve the right to re-schedule works where necessary.

     

  17. Any plumbing and plastering work will be quoted separately from tiling works.

     

  18. Installation of fixtures and fittings (i.e. toilet roll holder, towel rail etc.) can be arranged for an extra charge on completion of tiling works.

  19. Any Parking permits will be supplied by the client, parking fines incurred due to lack of permits are payable by the client.
